Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

Pelvic Health Physio is a specialised area of physiotherapy that assesses and treats conditions affecting the pelvic floor, abdominal muscles and general pelvic region.

Common conditions include incontinence, prolapse, vaginal pain, diastasis recti and overactive bladder.

Physiotherapy has been shown to be very effective in treating these conditions. Treatments often include education, pelvic floor muscle training, home exercises and vaginal pessaries.

Assessment and treatment is always individualized based on the needs of the woman.

Pregnancy/Postpartum
